Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone using Community Cork. It supplements our Terms of Service.

Respectful conduct

Treat other members, vendors, and organizers with respect. Harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination are not allowed.

Do not impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with an event or venue.

Lawful use

Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Do not use Community Cork to promote illegal activity, fraud, or dangerous goods or services.

Platform integrity

Do not attempt to bypass security, scrape the service in ways that harm performance, or interfere with other users’ access.

Do not upload malware, spam unsolicited messages through the platform, or manipulate discovery rankings through deceptive practices.

Event and listing accuracy

Organizers must provide accurate event details (time, location, fees, and requirements) and update listings when plans change.

Vendors must submit truthful application information and honor commitments made to organizers unless both parties agree otherwise.

Intellectual property

Only post content you have the right to use. Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we believe this policy or our Terms have been violated.

Report concerns to the support email below. We review reports in good faith but cannot guarantee outcomes for every dispute between users.
